Teaching “YOU” Thursday with Chevron Border Punch

By on 10-03-2013 in Cards, Holiday Mini Catalog, Jenny Peterson, Kits, My Paper Pumpkin, Stampin' Up!, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Michigan, Tutorial, Video

Today I will be showing you how to correctly use Stampin’ Up!’s new Chevron Builder Punch on this cute card.

The base of this card is Crumb Cake card stock and also sponged with Crumb Cake Classic Ink and a Stamping Sponge.  I used the Chevron Builder Punch and Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper to create the Chevron along the left side of the card.  The below video will show you more about how the Chevron Builder Punch works.

The main part of the card is created on Very Vanilla card stock and layered using Crushed Curry and Pool Party card stock.  The background of the main image is created using Clockworks stamp set using Pool Party Classic Ink and Gorgeous Grunge using Crumb Cake Classic Ink and Crushed Curry Classic Ink.  The “Hey There” is stamped using a Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write Marker from the Neutrals Stampin’ Write Marker Collection.

The “Hey There” greeting is from the Welcome Kit of the My Paper Pumpkin.  I really LOVE this monthly kit and if you haven’t tried it yet you should!  Be sure to go to my Paper Pumpkin page to learn all about My Paper Pumpkin and get signed up TODAY by clicking HERE!!!

The arrow paper clip is from the Hung Up Cute Clips and then tied with a piece of our Linen Thread.

Be sure to watch this video to see all about the Chevron Border Punch!
